This committee was established in 1959 under the chairmanship of H J Malkin to define the general principles to be followed in the building of maternity units. It reported in May 1960.
It is not known when or by whom the material was passed to the Archives. Miss Mallon, the College Secretary, provided secretarial support for the committee, as well as maintaining an official College Secretary's file on the subject (A8/12).
