William McMurray (1881-1945), antiquarian, was a vestry clerk of the united parishes of St Anne and St Agnes with St John Zachary. He probably compiled these records in the first half of the 20th century.
The records were purchased by Guildhall Library in 1946 and were catalogued in the same year by Guildhall Library staff. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
