The National Network for the Arts in Health NNAH (2000-2007) was a registered charity registered under Chairty Number 1084023. The organisation was an advocate for the Arts in Health field, bringing together the arts and health communities and supporting the use of the arts to improve patients’ experience. It was chaired to 2007 by Catherine McLoughlin CBE, Company Secretary was Guy Eades. The organisation was funded by the Kings Fund and the Arts Council from 2000 until 2007, when it closed. The NNAH succeeded, and shared the aims of, the organisation 'Hospital Arts', founded by J Hugh Baron (b 1931), c 1980.

The Hospital Arts archive was transferred to the NNAH, c 2000. The collections were compiled by the NNAH and stored on behalf of the NNAH by Art in Hospitals, from 2000 until 2008, when they were transferred to Goldsmiths by Deed of Gift.

It includes the institutional archives of the National Network for Arts in Health (NNAH) and the Baron Archive of Health Care Arts (c 1980-2000). The resources collected by both organisations include files on art, drama and music projects in the health service supported by Art in Hospitals and the NNAH, together with a library of 150 books, 4,500 reports and pamphlets and other research materials assembled as a resource for education and research.
