The items in this collection relate to accusations of witchcraft made by women in the early 19th century, naming the alleged witch. The papers originate in some part of the empire of New Spain, probably Mexico.

The items are held in chronological order of composition, so far as that can be established.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.

Photocopies/photographs/microfilm are supplied for private research only at the Archivist's discretion. Please note that material may be unsuitable for copying on conservation grounds, and that photographs cannot be photocopied in any circumstances.
