Sir Charles Peers (1661-1737) was a Citizen and Salter, Common Councilman for Aldgate Ward 1701-8, Alderman of Tower Ward 1708-37, Sheriff 1707-8, and Lord Mayor 1715-16.
Deposited at Guildhall Library in 1959 and converted into an outright gift in 1978. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
Daybooks of Sir Charles Peers, relating to his business as London partner of William Morley and Company, of Malaga, merchants and importers.
Two volumes.
