Papers of Gen Sir Alexander John Godley (GB99 KCLMA Godley) include two letters from Platt, 1941 and 1943. Imperial War Museum Department of Documents has papers relating to his service in East Africa, 1940-1941, including material on Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (Ref: 69/58/A), the Department of Printed Books has a printed report 'Notes on operations in East Africa', 1941 (Ref: 514.53) and the Department of Photographs has slides, maps and photographs relating to his service in East Africa, 1940-1945, while the papers of F O Cave also contain material relating to Platt. The Sudan Archive, Durham University holds material relating to Platt in the papers of Kenneth David Druitt Henderson (539/5/6), Maj Gen Clement Arthur Milward (600/8/10-15) and John Hatton Bolt Orlebar (704/8/32-34).
