Plumstead Methodist Central Hall opened in 1905 on Plumstead High Street.

Documents were cleared from the home of the late Miss Winifred Tubby, a local preacher in the Plumstead Mission Circuit, secretary to the Sunday School and Junior Missionary Association.

Records donated by Mr P Randall, 6 Montague Avenue, Sholing, Southampton, SO2 8QG, 30 Jul 1991 (Acc/2947).

Records of Plumstead Wesleyan Methodist Central Hall, 1933-1961, including Sunday School attendance registers; minutes of Teachers' conferences and Sunday School Council; minutes of meetings of the Bazaar Committee; general correspondence; printed items including circuit plan, service sheets and programmes for social events; photographs of members of the church and the sisterhood.
