The collection was compiled by the Camberwell College of Arts Librarian from the 1960s to the 1990s.

Poster Literature Collection of Camberwell College of Arts, [1920s-2000], comprising British and international posters, [1920s-2000], including many produced for exhibitions, including by Camberwell College, British museums such as the Tate; exhibition catalogues, articles and press cuttings, [1970s], relating to billboard and poster design of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Access to the collection is by appointment only.

No photocopying is permitted although photographs may be taken at the discretion of the Head of Learning Resources.

The Library also holds approximately 600 books relating to posters and billboards, which are catalogued on the Library's OPAC.
