Whiteheads and Coles were stock and share brokers of 39 Throgmorton Street.
These records were given to Guildhall Library in 1988 by Sir Nicholas Goodison as one of the predecessor firms of Quilter, Goodison & Co. Ltd., stockbrokers. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
