R A Ramsay was a general surgeon who held posts to the Metropolitan Hospital and the Belgrave Hospital for Children, both in London. These papers were given to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in 1985 by Ramsay's son, Michael Ramsay.

Arranged in two sections: Surgical casenotes and 'Notes on Congenital Hypertrophic Stenosis of the Pylorus'.
