Accounts ledger from the Reverend Stephen Freeman's School, Ponders End. The ledger covers the period 1806 to 1848. It is not titled and contains records and accounts of tuition fees, boarding fees, costs of clothes and shoes, charges for dancing lessons, payments of medicines and payment of pocket monies for each individual pupil. The volume also gives details of name and address of the parents. There are a number of loose pages of traders' invoices and letters and notes dating back to 1799.
