Biographical history

The parish of Saint Barthlomew, Moor Lane was formed out of part of Saint Giles Cripplegate in 1850, the church having been built in 1848-1850. The parish was reunited to Saint Giles in 1900 and the church demolished in 1902, most of the parish having been lost when the Metropolitan Railway was built.

The parish of Saint Barthlomew, Moor Lane was formed out of part of Saint Giles Cripplegate in 1850, the church having been built in 1848-1850. The records of St Bartholomew were deposited in the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in the 1950s by the Vestry of St Giles Cripplegate. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
