Dr Robert Young (1777-1813) was a minister at the Scots Church, 1803-13.
The records of both churches were deposited with the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in 1948, and 1949. They were catalogued by members of Guildhall Library staff. Papers of Dr Young were deposited in Guildhall Library by the Presbyterian Historical Society of England in 1948. They were catalogued in the same year by a member of Guildhall Library staff. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
The records of the Scots Church before 1856 comprise constitutional documents, registers and records of the congregation, financial material, letterbooks and administrative papers, and deeds. Also papers of Dr Robert Young (1801-1813).
The records have been sorted into an order which reflects divisions between the different functions and operations of the organisation and its administration.
These records are available for public inspection, although records containing personal information may be subject to access restrictions.
