Hounslow Chapel was built about 1874 as a Methodist church. Its use as a church ceased about 1939 and during the Second World War it was used as a British Restaurant. In 1948 the building was bought by the United Synagogues.

The income and expenditure books include insertions relating to the Bell Road Methodist Church, Hounslow and the Brentford and Hounslow Methodist Circuit, 1948-1956.
