Biographical history
This firm of merchants and tea and spice dealers, of 5 Monument Yard, Fish Street Hill, was originally a partnership between Miles Stringer and Thomas Richardson. The partnership ended in May 1828. Later in the same year a Mr Cooper took Richardson's place and the firm was renamed Stringer, Cooper and Company.

This firm of merchants and tea and spice dealers, of 5 Monument Yard, Fish Street Hill, was originally a partnership between Miles Stringer and Thomas Richardson. The partnership ended in May 1828. This volume was purchased by the Manuscripts Section of Guildhall Library in 1987. The Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section merged with the London Metropolitan Archives in 2009.
