Gregory King's work was not published until 1802, when George Chalmers added it to a new edition of his Estimate of the comparative strength of Great Britain. It was later reprinted in Two Tracts ed George E Barnett (Johns Hopkins Press, Baltimore, 1936).

Part of the Goldsmith's Library of Economic Literature, initially collected by Herbert Somerton Foxwell and presented by the Goldsmith's Company to the University of London in 1903.

Manuscript volume containing a transcript of 'Natural and politicall observations and conclusions upon the state and condition of England' written by Gregory King, Lancaster Herald of Arms, in 1696, which contains a detailed account of the population and wealth of England at the end of the seventeenth century.
