Immediate source of aquisition of the two bound volumes is unknown. The copies of extracts from Walker's letters, 1867-1876, were received from the Geodetic Branch Library, Dehra Dun, 1964.

A Hirsch, Clements R Markham, T G Montgomerie, Lord Roberts, O von Stubendorf, Richard Strachey, H L Thuillier, and Colonel Henry Yule. Copies of extracts from Walker's letters, 1867-1876, from the records held in the Geodetic Branch Library, Dehra Dun, transcribed by R Phillimore, 1964.
