Whiffen and Sons Ltd, founded by Thomas Whiffen (1819-1904). Whiffen's chief products were of medical application, including poisons and alkaloids, with a special interest in quinine and strychnine.

Presented by Dr Elsa Lewkowitsch 1971-74 (accessions 318901, 318902, 322580 and 323212).

Records of Whiffen and Sons Ltd, founded by Thomas Whiffen (1819-1904), and of predecessor wholesale and manufacturing chemists, 1749-1971.

The papers are available subject to the usual conditions of access to Archives and Manuscripts material, after the completion of a Reader's Undertaking.
