The Women's Research and Resources Centre (WRRC) was established in Jul 1975 as a library, information service and meeting place for people interested in developing Women's Studies, feminist research and the questions surrounding issues of sex equality and discrimination. In 1983 the name was changed to the Feminist Library.

The Women's Research and Resources Centre (WRRC) was established in Jul 1975 as a library, information service and meeting place for people interested in developing Women's Studies, feminist research and the questions surrounding issues of sex equality and discrimination. In 1983 the name was changed to the Feminist Library.

The papers were donated to the Library in 1983 (5WRR/B and 5WRR/C). The papers of Pat Caplan (7PAC) contained material relating to WRRC (now 5WRR/A) donated to the Library in 2004 which were transferred in Jun 2008.

The archive consists of :

  • administrative papers

  • subject files and correspondence

  • resource material used in Women's Research and Resources Centre newsletter

The archive has been arranged into three groups:

5WRR/A - Administration

5WRR/B - Subject files and correspondence

5WRR/C - Resource material used in the Women's Research and Resources Centre newsletter.
