Dr Davies qualified in medicine at the London Hospital Medical School in 1950. In 1950 he was the Chief of the Division of Epidemiology in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Dr Davies qualified in medicine at the London Hospital Medical School in 1950. In 1950 he was the Chief of the Division of Epidemiology in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

It is not clear how these notebooks, etc, were acquired by the Wellcome Institute Library, but they were transferred to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in 1980. Except for the first item, which would appear to date from Dr Davies's schooldays, these notes seem to relate to the time when he was a medical student at the London Hospital
