Accompanying 2 copies of Brash's books. 'The first was intended to arouse the minds of the people in favour of the Greeks, and the second to overturn Cobbett's misleading principles.' On the dorse is written: 'his books are mere nonsense', and (in another hand) 'Recd and ansd 13 Sept. 1826. thanks for his pamphlets and that I cannot assist him'.
