Records of bodies connected with the United Synagogue to a greater or lesser extent are also included in this collection, such as the Office of the Chief Rabbi, London Beth Din and Beth Hamedrash, the Kashrut Commission and various Jewish friendly societies and charities. The United Synagogue's close links with Anglo-Jewish education are also represented in the collection, including records of individual schools such as the Jews' Free School. Records of the Court of the Chief Rabbi, London Beth Din, 1904-1988. The bulk of the archive transferred to London Metropolitan Archives are the administrative papers and general correspondence of the Court, and in particular that of the Clerks and Registrar. There are also files concerning consultations the Beth Din undertook with the Government on the Matrimonial and Family Proceedings Bill in the 1980s. Some correspondence and rough notes of the individual Dayanim and records relating to work done with refugees in the Second World War have also been deposited.

Records of The London Archaeologist Association including minutes, administrative papers and back issues of The London Archaeologist magazine.

Records of the London and Middlesex Archaeological Society, relating not only to the everyday administration of the Society (Acc/2899/01 and Acc/2899/02), but also to social and educational activities. Acc/2899/03 contains a large quantity of information relating to the latter. In the main the records date from the beginning of the twentieth century to the 1970's, although there is a sizeable amount of earlier material, and a small amount for later years

Correspondence between Dr Maurice Laserson and Professor Ernst Cohn-Wiener, art historian, 25 Feb 1924-26 Dec 1938 on topics including Cohn-Wiener's travel experiences and the art treasures and traditions of various countries; Cohn-Wiener's experience in India including comments on the situation of the indigenous Jewish population there; Laserson's activities relating to his involvement with ORT (Organisation for Rehabilitation through Training) and efforts by Laserson, in Australia, to find suitable employment and an entry permit for Cohn-Wiener. Also Curriculum Vitae of Cohn-Wiener, written whilst in India, [1938] and a list of Cohn-Wiener's publications produced by Laserson.

The collection contains photographs used to illustrate newspaper stories for the Hull Daily News about events in London. The photographs cover a range of subjects and have been organised thematically into 25 series, including: life in London during the Second World War and post-war reconstruction; transportation in London (including railways, roads, rivers and airports); churches; memorials and monuments; bridges; hotels; office buildings; foreign embassies; museums and art galleries; hospitals; sporting venues; markets; government buildings and theatres. There are also photographs showing particularly famous streets in London, photographs of palaces and royal residences in London, of the Tower of London, of Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column and photographs of the Palace of Westminster (including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Hall).

The collection is comprised largely of material produced by contemporary and former students and staff of Hotham Road School in Putney, as part of various projects undertaken by the Hotham School Social History Group, the school itself and the PTA, to celebrate the history of the school. This includes correspondence, primarily from former pupils, providing their reminiscences of the school, and notes and drafts for publications about the school's history. The collection also includes other material generated by the school and by Hotham Adult Education Centre, such as photographs, examples of students' work, and promotional documents.

Records of Lorna Holder and her fashion business including her final portfolio and photographs of her end of year fashion show for her graduation from Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham (1975); records of Ali Baba Trading Company, Oman (1976-1978) consist of photographs and film of the first televised fashion show in Oman, and correspondence and greeting cards; Davies & Field records include design sketches and portfolios containing sketches, textile samples and cuttings for female clothing during Lorna Holder's time as Head of Young Fashion (1979-1986).

Records of Lapaz, hairdressing and beauty salon (1985-1990) include premises correspondence, account books, photographs of Black hair models and styles and of the two salons, advertising and reference material including fashion magazines.

Records of Lorna Holder Couture from 1989 include design drawings for couture dresses, order book, and photographs of two dresses made by Lorna.

Records of Full Spectrum Productions Limited consist of the project archive of Jamaica Hidden Histories (2012-2015) which document training, exhibition and events which had the aim to increase awareness of Jamaican presence in Britain. Included are some interviews with individuals of Jamaican heritage. This was the sixth project led by the company. Other projects and records of Full Spectrum Productions are not deposited.

This collection consists of photographs showing a non-National Trust property, 10 South Grove, Highgate, in 1957.

This series of photographs were taken in the 1950s - 1970s of exteriors of London buildings. They cover the areas of Camden, City of London, Hackney, Islington, Lambeth, Southwark, Tower Hamlets and Westminster. They show views of various buildings, including the Whitechapel Post Office before, during and after demolition; Mann, Crossman and Paulin Ltd Brewers, Bethnal Green; Stepney Green and Whitechapel Stations along with many panoramic shots. The photographs were taken by Hester Mallin and colleagues.

Photographic colour slide transparencies depicting social change and zones of transition in London's built landscape, taken for teaching purposes. Mainly depict 18th, 19th and 20th century domestic buildings taken from street level. The slides show Hampstead Garden Suburb, Westminster, Islington, Highgate, Camden, Bermondsey, Southwark, Whitechapel, Battersea, Camberwell and Pentonville.

Records of the Gresham Club, a City of London dining club. The majority of the records presented to Guildhall Library on the liquidation of the Club in 1991/2 (catalogued as Mss 28834-28864) relate to the Club's time at Abchurch Lane. All Victorian records of the Club, excluding the deed of settlement of 1844 (Ms 28834) and a single notice of annual general meeting of 1845 (Ms 28837), appear not to have survived. The records include constitutional documents, minutes, accounts, records of membership, legal papers, photographs and miscellaneous administrative papers.

The Club's archives also include records of Gresham Club Trustees Ltd (Mss 28861-864), formed in 1915 to administer the lease of the premises at 15-17 Abchurch Lane. It was created to deal with all subsequent property transactions entered into by the Club, and enabled to borrow money, where appropriate, on the strength of the Club's property holdings. For a short history of the Club, written in 1943 for its centenary, see Ms 28856. The background papers used for this history have been catalogued as Ms 28857.
