Three volumes containing a record of members of the London Schools Swimming Association who received awards from the Royal Humane Society. The awards were given for bravery for saving lives from drowning. The books were created by Joseph Wilson who was president of both the English and London Associations.

The diaries and personal papers of George Francis Jack Bergmann, dated 1919-1981, notably comprise a set of typescript transcripts of diaries which document in detail Bergmann's experiences in the Foreign Legion and in prison. They also provide a full report on the infamous trial of French officers and guards at Hadjerat M'Guil. In addition there are newsletters, bulletins and correspondence, 1919-1981, which reflect Bergmann's interest in, and membership of, a Jewish student organisation, 'Kartellverband jüdischer Studenten'.

The collection comprises correspondence, research notes, publications and drafts compiled by Alan Clinton during research for his book Printed Ephemera: Collection, Organisation, Access published by Clive Bingley in 1981 (1976-1980); Correspondence, organisational documents, ephemera, handwritten notes and other material regarding Clinton's involvement with the Oxford University Labour Club and other groupings, including the Socialist Labour League, his time serving on Islington Council, various publications and articles (1964-1990), Trotskyist and other left-wing pamphlets and journals, 1960s-1980s, including Workers Press and Newsline.

The UCL College Archives are comprised of material charting the history of the university, from its establishment in 1826 to the present day. Most of the collection consists of material created in the day-to-day running of the institution and includes records such as foundation deeds and papers, committee minutes, administrative correspondence, department records and reports, early student society/association papers, staff and student files, building plans and maps, artwork and photographs.

This collection contains outgoing correspondence, diaries, reports, and speeches made by Sir Peter Newsam as the Education Officer of the ILEA. Records of Gillian Spraggs, 1980-199-, including numerous leaflets, pamphlets, magazines and posters produced, printed and publicised by various gay and lesbian action and support groups during the latter part of the 20th century. Many of them advertise the existence and need for such support groups, while others work to promote necessary information and advice for lesbians and gays who had either suffered from discrimination or wanted to help campaign against such discrimination. They document the campaign against the introduction of Clause 27 and the campaign to ensure equality and equal opportunities for lesbians and gays within the work place.

The College records are only a part of the English Provincial Archive of the Society of the Sacred Heart, which contains a large collection of archival material relating to convents, colleges and training schools founded by the Society. Papers of Henry Thring, 1st Baron Thring, relating to the establishment and constitution of the Royal College of Music (RCM), 1877-1883, mostly comprising correspondence of Thring (mainly his office copies) and members of the Committee of Management of the National Training School for Music, Prince Christian's Executive Committee of the Royal and National College of Music and the Council of the RCM, particularly in regard to the drafting and granting of the royal charter to the RCM, with manuscript and printed drafts of the charter of the RCM and regulations of the RCM. The papers also include a small quantity of material relating to Thring's RCM Building's Sub Committee to report on the heating, ventilation and drainage of the new RCM building, 1889; the minute of condolence of the Council of the RCM on the death of Lord Thring, 14 Mar 1907; correspondence relating to the donation of the Thring papers to the RCM, 1951.
