This small collection of documents relating to the life of J M Munro Kerr was evidently brought together by Kerr himself. In 1988 the records were discovered in Melbourne, Australia, by Dr Alexander Gillies, the son of Dr John Stewart Gillies, a student of and later personal doctor to Munro Kerr. In July 1989 they were presented to the RCOG by the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in memory of Dr J S Gillies.
