In May 1992 Medawar's daughter Mrs Caroline Garland presented the laboratory notebooks, to be held on permanent loan. Some additional material (C.155-159), relating to research undertaken in collaboration, was received from Professor Leslie Brent in December 2003. Following Lady Medawar's death in 2005, a few additional items were received from Caroline Garland in February 2006 and February 2007.
