Correspondence of Chief Rabbi Nathan Adler, 1868-1901. A small number of records survive from around 1868 for the Chief Rabbinate of Nathan Adler and more from the late 1870s onwards - around the time Hermann Adler began to undertake many of his father's duties for him. The records consist of bundles of letters to the Chief Rabbi from communal organisations and individuals in Britain and overseas.

Records of Chief Rabbi Lord Immanuel Jakobovits, 1913-1992. The records of Lord Jakobovits are the single largest part of the archive, indicative of the large volume of work undertaken and the relative speed with which the records were passed onto London Metropolitan Archives.

Records of the West London Synagogue of British Jews, 1840-1973. The archive consists mainly of financial records such as cash books, ledgers, journals, accounts books and financial statements, with two scapbooks containing advertisements, news cuttings, programmes and tickets for special events.

Records of the Federation of Synagogues, 1887 - 1988. The records include a comprehensive set of minutes of the Federation; a less comprehensive but nonetheless interesting collection of minute books from the individual congregations; and minutes of other institutions connected with the Federation. There are also financial accounts, reports, property files (including synagogue plans), notice books and correspondence files which give a fuller picture of life of the Federation; and records of the East London Mikvah Committee; Federation Burial Society and London Talmud Torah Council.

Records of the New Road Synagogue, Whitechapel, 1924-1974. With the exception of the two minute books the majority of the records date from the mid 1960s, when J. Lindsay took over as Secretary of the New Road Synagogue. He remained in post until the amalgamation in 1974. The correspondence files are those which were maintained by J. Lindsay. Their contents reflect the wide range of duties undertaken by members of the Synagogue within the Jewish community.

Records of Saint Lawrence Church, Little Stanmore, mostly relating to glebe land including conveyances by bargain and sale and plan of Kate Field, Edgware. Glebe land was assigned to a clergyman as part of his benefice.

Bond discharging the parish of Clerkenwell to provide for the maintenance and upbringing of a child, 1596. Also letter explaining how documents in the parish chest of Saint James Church, Clerkenwell, were being given away ca.1898 to make room when church was being repaired.

Overseers' records from the parish of Saint Mary the Virgin, Twickenham; comprising demands from the Clerk of Peace to the Overseers of the Poor of Twickenham for the County Rate and Rate under Lunatic Asylum Act, accompanied by relevant printed reports of Quarter Sessions, County Treasurers' Accounts and lists of demands outstanding.

Records of the Uxbridge Congregational Church, including papers relating to the purchase and lease of land and property, 1603-1877; agreement to build 'a good and substantial Meeting House' for the use of the Society of Protestant Dissenters at Uxbridge, with detailed specifications, 1716; bargain and sale of land and the house and other buildings thereon for the use and occupation of the Protestant dissenting ministers of the congregation at Uxbridge, 1753; correspondence relating to the appointment of Reverend Robert Cramond as minister of the Presbyterian Dissenting Congregation at Uxbridge, 1768; map of premises in Uxbridge showing Uxbridge school, playground and meeting house, 1820s; legal papers relating to the lease of land near Uxbridge High Street, 1774 and valuation of house and grounds attached to the Presbyterian Meeting House, Uxbridge, 1820.

Records of the Staines Congregational Church, Thames Street, 1802-1955, including release in fee for parcel of land at Staines with newly built meeting house of the protestant dissenters known as Independents, 1802, with further endorsements relating to the appointment of new trustees, 1803-1867; mortgage for the Independent Chapel and yard, 1838; further mortgages and conveyances for the Independent Chapel, 1845-1879; appointment of new trustees, 1902 and 1923 and certificate issued to the Congregational (Independent) Church, Thames Street, Staines certifying it as a place of meeting for religious worship, 1925.

This collection consists of the papers and correspondence of James Hayward of Bridgewater, a wholesale confectioner, and one of the most energetic of Joanna's followers in the West Country, with a wide circle of correspondents throughout the country, 1789-1888. He also collected, during the middle and later nineteenth century, the papers of many other of Joanna's followers, most notably Edmund Baker, who was minister of a chapel held by the sect in Teddington, Middlesex from about 1809 to 1811, and later minister in Dowlish, Somerset. The collection includes a roll of members, and register book for the Teddington chapel and lists of members and signed testimonies from Dowlish and Ilminster. It also includes a large number of printed books by and concerning Joanna, many of them from the libraries of James Hayward and Edmund Baker.

Local Preachers' Meeting Minute Book containing minutes of quarterly meetings of local preachers of the Tottenham Circuit, 13 June 1910 - 4 December 1936; the Tottenham and Enfield Circuit, 5 March 1937 - 30 May 1941; and the Enfield Circuit, 5 September 1941 - 2 June 1944.
