Memoirs from the internment of Hugo Rosenstock during 1940 and 1941. The first item comprises a series of individual sketches of camp life mostly in verse form, which have subsequently been bound together and foliated. There is a contents page, though no introduction completes the volume.

The collection includes an English translation.

Papers of the Central British Fund for World Jewish Relief, 1933-1965, detail the work of the CBF in shelters, hostels, internment camps, schools and foster homes, and also contain information on the finances of the fund. Ephemeral material, 1953-2000, collected by the Hall-Carpenter Archive and relevant for the study of gay, lesbian and bisexual history. The ephemera series contains the following material: poster, tickets and leaflets for events; records from organisations for which there is very little surviving material; and records for which the Hall-Carpenter Archive has no information about terms of deposit, or where material has been deposited by several sources. Papers, 1668-1685, from George Ernest Morrison's collection relating to the activities of Jesuit missionaries, principally in the Far East, including a legal document on Roman Catholic martyrs in Flanders, Japan, England and elsewhere, signed by the notary Hermanus Bex and others and with the great seal of the City of Liege, 1668, and correspondence and other documents concerning missions including transcripts of petitions protesting against the activities of the Vicars Apostolic, and in favour of the Jesuits, of Christians in Cochin China (Annam) and Indochina, 1681-1682.

Manuscript poem, 17th century, 'Himmelfahrt Der Ordensleute' (ascension of orders), in rhyming couplets. Folio 1r bears an inscription dated 1660, describing the text as a humorous poem on the meeting of the Roman Catholics, Jesuits, monks, etc, with the apostle Peter at the celestial gates, probably unpublished. On the last leaf (f 5v) a copper engraving is pasted, depicting the Rhine and Main from Cologne to Würzburg, and on the water boats full of Jesuits, apparently fleeing. A single Jesuit toils along the river bank with his sack full of treasures belonging to the Roman Catholic Church, which are being lost en route.
