Biografie
Miss Winifred K Shunn was an embroidery and tambour teacher at Barrett Street Trade School from 1928 to 1962. She married in 1938 and was the first female member of staff to be allowed to continue teaching after her marriage.

Miss Winifred K Shunn was an embroidery and tambour teacher at Barrett Street Trade School from 1928 to 1962. She married in 1938 and was the first female member of staff to be allowed to continue teaching after her marriage.
The papers were donated to the London College of Fashion by Mrs Beck (Miss Shunn) in 1992.
