Complete transcripts of 38 filmed interviews concerning events leading up to the 9 Nov 1989 when the border between the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) and the Federal Republic of Germany (West Germany) was opened, and the demolition of the Berlin Wall began. The interviews were recorded for the production of the television documentary Fall of the Wall, which was broadcast in 1994. The collection also includes programme scripts and press releases for each of the hour long documentary episodes titled 'A Hole in the Wall' and 'The Fatal Error'.

Two letters from William Gilliatt to Dr G de Rudolf, 1917-1918, concerning Rudolf's military service during World War One and correspondence between Rudolf and the Honorary Secretary of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 1969, concerning the donation of these letters to the College.

This collection of Gimbert family papers dates from 1838 to 1992, covering four generations, and consists mainly of personal records of family members. It includes an apprenticeship deed from 1838 (see ACC/3094/002), some army records, some nineteenth and early twentieth century family photographs and the genealogical notes kept by various family members through the years.

'Epic violet', a draft memoir covering his service with the Air Ministry and the BEF, 1939-1940, notably pre-war air intelligence, the 'phoney war' and air reconnaissance in France, Sep 1939-Apr 1940, the German invasion of France, May 1940, and the evacuation of UK troops from Dunkirk, May-June 1940, written in [1957]. Papers relating to his service in Somaliland, 1940, notably including typescript copies of telegrams to Lt Gen Arthur Francis Smith, Deputy Chief of General Staff, [GHQ Middle East], giving a brief account of the attack by Italian troops on British forces at Tug Argan, 11 Aug 1940, dated 12 Aug 1940, and to [Gen Sir Archibald Percival Wavell] giving an appreciation of the current situation in Somaliland, 14 Aug 1940.

Papers of Leon Goldenberg, 1886-1916, comprise a copy of his military service record whilst in the Landwehr of the Austro-Hungarian Army and an unidentified photograph depicting soldiers with their wives.
