University of the Arts London: University Archives and Special Collections Centre

The University Archives and Special Collections Centre is open Monday to Friday 1-4pm by advance appointment.

Before booking, please browse our online catalogue and provide us with reference numbers for the items you want to see. You can request a maximum of 10 items per visit.

If you cannot make your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

We can carry out up to 60 minutes of remote research for researchers who cannot visit the archive.

We can also provide a limited number of copies of some kinds of archive material for private research

If you want to have something copied, please contact us and we'll tell you if it's possible.

We'll consider the condition and preservation needs of the item, copyright and Data Protection.

Copying items from the Stanley Kubrick Archive is restricted to academic researchers working on university or school projects only, due to the archive’s donation agreement.

When you have booked your appointment with us, you will have access to the Typo cafe at the front of London College of Communication.
