Records of the London Electric Supply Corporation Limited and successor London Electricity Board, comprising plans of Main Transmissions Networks in the London, Essex and Kent areas, 1937 - 1951; and photographs of Grove Road Sub-Station, 195-; Carnaby Sub-Station, 1952; Neckinger Sub-Station, 1958; Horseferry Road Central Bank, 1959; Barnes Substation, 1960; Beech Station 'B' Sub-Station, 1969; Cable Tunnel under Surrey Canal, 195-; and Horseferry Road and Grove Street, 1928.

Records donated by the London Gas Museum, comprising some 400 Ordnance Survey sheets of various scales and editions, 1893-1989. Many have been amended to show property owned or leased by the Gas Light and Coke Company, the Brentford Gas Company or the North Thames Gas Board. These properties tend to be gas works or showrooms. The plans cover only parts of the area north of the River Thames. There are no sheets for areas south of the Thames. A later deposit consisted of staff magazines and photographs for both the North Thames Gas Board and the South Eastern Gas Board.

Records of the Herst Leather Corporation, [1900]-1983. Administrative papers including material relating to the incorporation of the companies, correspondence to and from suppliers and clients, and details of products and processes at the Avondale Tannery; financial papers including records of sales and purchases along with accounts from Herst, Leading Leathers and Avondale and credit reports of companies they dealt with; and publications and ephemera including directories on the leather trade and surveys of the shoe industry. Also a short series of samples of leather from Herst Leather Corporation as well as samples from Buenos Aires.

Records of Ind Coope Ltd, a subsidiary of Allied Breweries Ltd, and records of various companies acquired by Ind Coope before it was acquired by Allied. The collection contains the records of the following companies:

Each company collection contains corporate records which can include minutes of meetings, memoranda and articles of association, registers of directors and members and corporate agreements. Some companies, for example Taylor Walker and Company Limited and Cannon Brewery Company Limited, have large collections of premises records including early title deeds and mortgage agreements, schedules of properties and inventories. There are numerous items of interest including an album of Taylor Walker advertising cuttings from 1950s (LMA/4433/C/04/001) and photographs from the official opening of the Alperton Bottling plant in 1951 (LMA/4433/E/01/010).

Records of Whitbread and Company Ltd, brewers, with the papers of its subsidiary companies originally based in the London area, 1742-2000. These records will primarily be of interest to those concerned with the foundation and development of breweries or with the history of family businesses. A large collection of plans of properties, including public houses (LMA/4453/F/08), along with the Whitbread Archivist's research files (LMA/4453/G/05) will also be of interest to local historians researching specific public houses in the London area. Genealogical information about Whitbread employees is available in the Salaries Books (LMA/4453/E/01) and Pensioners Books (LMA/4453/E/04).

Records of the Albion Iron and Wire Works Company Limited, 1889-1971. The majority of the records concern the everyday running of the Company and one of its associated companies, Myerson Kilby Limited, and comprise ledgers, journals, cash books and estimate and invoice books. Unfortunately no minute books have been deposited. There is a substantial run of order books which give a good account of the range of goods manufactured and the variety of customers served by the company. There are also some records relating to property owned by the Company.
