Family correspondence includes the letter book of William Sherborn 1846-1870 (ref ACC/3259/SF3/001) and letters signed by Sir Edward Sherburne, royalist and poet 1684-1687 (ref ACC/3259/SF3/003-005). In addition, there are many references to incidents in local history which will bear interesting comparison with records already deposited in the archive.
