The greater part of the collection originated from Pastor Dr Julius Rieger (reponsible for the parish 1945-1953) and Pastor Wallman who assisted Rieger from 1951. The records also include the archives of the Camberwell Church which closed in 1914.

ACCESS: note there is a 100 year closure concerning records containing information on staff and customers. London Metropolitan Archives has interpreted this as a closure of 85 years from the end date of each document, given the likely minimum age of 16 years for most staff and customers.

The collection mainly comprises of explanatory booklets for pension scheme members and associated publications such as annual reports which were used by UPS to produce Pension Scheme Profiles.

These are grouped by company (or in a few instances by pension scheme) and arranged alphabetically, following the arrangement of Pension Scheme Profiles. A file's scope and content lists which booklets and other publications are held for a company. The explanatory booklets often included update addendums, application forms or other inserts: these have only been noted if they are unusual. Occasionally a scheme's entry in Pension Scheme Profiles is held.

The collection also includes other PIRC and UPS publications, and publications Bryn Davies acted as a consultant on.
